Expert Chocolate Connoisseur
Alan Saporta has been conducting chocolate tastings for more than 20 years. His innate passion for chocolate started as a child. He would pass on dessert if it didn't contain chocolate in some fashion. On Halloween the only candy he ate from his trick-or-treat bag was chocolate.
Driven by eagerness to comprehend the journey of joyous chocolate creation, Alan embarked on a self-education regimen. This pursuit expanded even further with hands-on training under luminaries such as master chocolatier John Scharffenberger and exploratory travels to chocolate havens from Paris and New York to Geneva and even Ho Chi Minh City.
Motivated by a desire to introduce others to more exquisite chocolate varieties, Alan began conducting tastings himself. The popularity of these sessions quickly skyrocketed as word spread about their unique, educational, and delicious nature. Two decades later, Alan continues to enlighten people on the diverse and mouthwatering world of chocolate, serving as a trusted guide in their cocoa-filled journey.
